SHARING MY ENTREPRENEURSHIP LIFE

“After these things Paul departed from Athens and went to Corinth. And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla (because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome); and he came to them. So, because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked; for the occupation they were tentmakers.” Acts 18:1-3

Isn’t it amazing how our God of love sent his Son here on the earth 2,000 years ago to be raised in a home where his earthly father was a carpenter. His neighbors described him as “the carpenter’s son”. You can read this in Matthew 13:55. They were amazed at how this Man had gotten his wisdom and the mighty works that he was doing. His disciples including Paul were all business people and not standard preachers.

When the Lord brought me forth into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit I had a real desire to become a full time minister. I wanted to go to some Bible teaching center to prepare me but the Holy Spirit kept telling me over and over that He wanted me to continue to be a business man and learn how to minister to folks as a business person.   He had baptized me at THE FULL GOSPEL BUSINESS MAN FELLOWSHIP organization which was awesome.

It took me a year to get hold of His plan for me. I have been in business now for 73 years. At nine years of age I purchased some baby chickens to raise them for a food item. Over the years I have been involved in several different food operations which has been very fulfilling to me and my precious wife. She still cooks a great deal and serves both family and others. I have literally seen her prepare a meal and more people showed up than she had planned for and the Lord increased the food to serve all that showed up. Don’t you know that Jesus loved to feed literally thousands of people supernaturally.

I am truly thankful that the Lord has worked in me to be willing and joyful in doing all kinds of business operations. During the day we see how Jesus interacted with all sorts of business topics. He was a well-informed person and spoke quite a few times in parables about the following items: *construction (see Matthew 7:24-27), *wine making (Luke 5:37-38), *farming (Mark 4:2-20), *treasure hunting (Matthew 13:44), *ranching (Matthew 18:12-14), *management and labor (Matthew 20:1-16), *family-owned businesses (Matthew 21:28-31), *return on investments (Matthew 25:14-30), *crop yield (Mark 13:27-32). There are several other times He spoke in parables using business as the major topic.

Please pray with and for me as I come forth with my entrepreneur background. I am planning on coming forth with YouTube video stories for all to see.
